Delete Your Grihini Account

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Grihini and go to the Profile tab
2. Under Account, tap Delete Account
3. Confirm — deletion is immediate and permanent

What gets deleted

• Your account, phone number, and login credentials
• If you are the only member of your household: all staff records, photos, attendance logs, advances, and settlement history
• If other family members remain in your household: only your own account and membership are removed — the household's data stays with the remaining members

Deletion is processed immediately on request; residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 72 hours. Settlement records may be retained for up to 7 years where required by Indian tax law.

Can't access the app?

Email dpo@grihiniapp.in from any address, stating the phone number your account is registered with. We will verify ownership via an OTP to that number and process the deletion within 30 days as required by the DPDP Act, 2023.
